Summary: In terms of economic and political instability in the country, conflict in the east, slow reforms, the loss of the Russian market, the agricultural sector is becoming a priority of Ukraine`s economy, which determines the socio-economic situation and food security of the state. Given present trends, agriculture can be a real lifesaver Ukrainian economy. Therefore, the research trends of agricultural development and finding ways to improve the competitiveness of Ukrainian exports of agricultural producers is an important and urgent issue.
