Аннотація: The article is devoted to the formation and development of the innovation process in agriculture, taking into account a set of measures aimed at systematic updating of financial, technological, organizational, economic, legal, technical, marketing, management, logistical components that are focused on increasing the quality and competitiveness of agricultural products. The main reasons that hamper scientific and technological progress in agriculture are identified. Innovative strategies for the development of the agricultural sector of the economy are substantiated. It is established that organizational and managerial factors, which are connected with the
availability of developed innovative infrastructure, have a great influence on innovation development. The role of information and consulting support to the subjects of agricultural sector of the economy, which is oriented to the promotion of innovative projects, is substantiated.
