Аннотація: The article considers international experience of legal regulation of cryptocurrencies, provides legal analysis of the regulatory framework for the circulation of cryptocurrencies in the countries with developed economies,
including the United Kingdom, Norway, the USA, and Japan. Legislative peculiarities of regulating the circulation of cryptocurrencies in the countries that have favorable conditions for the development of crypto business, in particular, Australia, Estonia and Switzerland, are determined. The example of these countries shows how the peculiarities of cryptocurrency regulation affect financial stability and security. The need to further improvement of the legal framework for the creation of an optimal platform for the cryptocurrency circulation, promotion of the development of crypto business as a new forward-looking area of economic development and at the same time protection of public financial systems, prevention of criminal money laundering is proved.
