production and economic activities of economic entities, are the basic characteristics of the economy, which depends on sound management decisions in finance. The article examines the essence and functions of the financial
potential of the agro-industrial enterprise. The role of economic security in the system of sustainable operation of the enterprise is established. The directions of improvement of the mechanism of management of financial potential of the agrarian enterprise are defined.
