Аннотація: The present article deals with the selection of parameters of the feeding channel of the biter-knife shredding machine, by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the receiving neck, taking into account the throughput of the forage harvester. The dependences which allow to define the minimum equation of height of cross section of the feeding channel, length of rotor’s fingers and productivity of the shredding machine are given.
