Summary: The results of studies on the formation of vegetable plants under the effect of climate change in Ukraine are presented. At the global and regional levels of climate change, since the beginning of the 21st century the world countries, including Ukraine, have dealt with a number of extremely important and complex tasks related to the development of state security strategy and support of sustainable development in the conditions of climate change. Climate change experienced in recent years indicates a significant deviation of the system from the norm at the global biosphere level. These deviations are of great concern for the humanity, including the population of Ukraine. Changes in weather conditions in the territory of Ukraine have caused an increase in the air temperature, which in its turn results in the rainless period, in particular during the growing season of crops, including vegetable plants.
