Summary: The article considers the evolution of entrepreneurship, which contributes to the creation of the necessary conditions for the integrated development of rural areas, solving social problems of the village, ensuring food security of the country. It is stated that entrepreneurship as a type of economic activity is an independent, proactive activity carried out by business entities (entrepreneurs) in order to achieve economic and social results and make a profit. It is emphasized that the indisputable fact is that entrepreneurship acts not only as a way of life, but also as an incentive for self-improvement and self-development.
