Аннотація: The article presents the dynamics of changes in the gross domestic product in Ukraine and other countries of the world during the analyzed period. The projected changes of the GDP index in Ukraine carried out by various international organizations are investigated. The current state of Ukraine`s GDP is compared with other countries. The content of macroeconomic processes that determine the current economic status of Ukraine is highlighted. The article deals with the concept of economic growth as one of the most important macroeconomic problems, especially economic growth in different countries of the world. It is noted that economic growth is the main indicator that characterizes the economic development of any country in the scale of all social production, represented by the increase in the annual volume of production of goods and services.
