Аннотація: The article examines the effectiveness of public administration of the national economy, which largely depends on the effectiveness of the impact of budgetary policy on the activation of economic processes in Ukraine.
Macroeconomic forecasting and planning is one of the key instruments of the budgetary mechanism of ensuring the socio - economic development of the country in the system of state management of the national economy. The article assesses the socio-economic development of Ukraine; possible scenarios of macroeconomic development of Ukraine are analyzed; the state of socio-economic development of Ukraine is investigated; the existing systems of planning and forecasting of economic development are analyzed; characteristics of methods of forecasting of macroeconomic processes and directions of their improvement are given.
