Аннотація: The beginning of the XXI century was marked by a transitional period in the
formation of the world energy system. Currently, the topical problems of the
economy are the growth of current production costs and specific investment in the energy sector, the formation of a favourable economic climate for the further development of the fuel and energy complex, the development by the world community of advanced regulation methods and coordinated global energy
development strategies. At the same time, improving the standard of living of the population and its socio-economic condition will largely depend on the rational use of energy carriers and natural resource potential, which at the present stage of management becomes especially relevant.
